About Brent Severson
I started The Skin Gallery in 1994 while stationed as a Marine at Kings Bay, GA. I have tattooed from Florida to California and even in Japan. In 2006 The Skin Gallery opened its doors in my hometown of Prairie du Chien, WI. I’m always learning and striving to give my clients the best artwork possible. I enjoy tattooing all styles and haven’t really been pinned down to just one particular style. I enjoy creating larger pieces of art that require multiple sittings.
I have won awards for my tattoos, and have been internationally published.
When I’m not tattooing I enjoy playing bass, airbrushing, pointilism, sketching and recently started oil painting. And there are so many other mediums I look forward to doing.
I have been influenced by practically everything and everyone. There are too many awesome artists to name individually.
If I were to mention one in particular it would have to be Paul Porvaznik.
I feel you can never learn enough when it comes to this profession.
Tattooing is not just a job, It’s a passion.
If you have any questions or would like to book an appointment feel free to call the shop or email me.

About Ari
For a long time I've had a passion for self-expression. I've always loved decorating myself in different ways and for different reasons. I found that through a career in piercing and other body modifications, I can share this love with others. In this industry I am fortunate enough to have the privilege of making the outside match the inside. I know first hand how exciting it is to get a new piercing and leave feeling like a brand new person! Being able to safely facilitate that experience for other people puts a smile on my face. Not only do I enjoy body modification, I have a passion for customer service and building relationships. I take pride in the work I do behind the desk. I aim to create the safest and most comfortable environment for all our clients, educating them along the way. Working in this reception position has introduced me to hundreds of interesting people, each one with stories to tell and lessons to leave with me. I love every aspect of this job and hope to spend many more years piercing!
