About Brent Severson
I started The Skin Gallery in 1994 while stationed as a Marine at Kings Bay, GA. I have tattooed from Florida to California and even in Japan. In 2006 The Skin Gallery opened its doors in my hometown of Prairie du Chien, WI. I’m always learning and striving to give my clients the best artwork possible. I enjoy tattooing all styles and haven’t really been pinned down to just one particular style. I enjoy creating larger pieces of art that require multiple sittings.
I have won awards for my tattoos, and have been internationally published.
When I’m not tattooing I enjoy playing bass, airbrushing, pointilism, sketching and recently started oil painting. And there are so many other mediums I look forward to doing.
I have been influenced by practically everything and everyone. There are too many awesome artists to name individually.
If I were to mention one in particular it would have to be Paul Porvaznik.
I feel you can never learn enough when it comes to this profession.
Tattooing is not just a job, It’s a passion.
If you have any questions or would like to book an appointment feel free to call the shop or email me.
